a. All donations made through our website are voluntary and non-refundable.
b. Happy Treats is a not-for-profit initiative. However, to ensure the sustainability of the initiative, ten percent of your donation will be set aside for overhead costs including technology, payment gateway charges, communication, accounting… At the end of the year, the balance, if any, may be carried forward and deployed for treats.
c. Happy Treats reserves the right to switch a selected Treat to another one of the same treat value. This switch will be done if a planned treat event needs further participants or for any other reason. (Example if a children film is not running in a nearby theatre or a picnic/resort trip is unsuitable due to weather conditions)
d. While we make every effort to ensure the appropriate use of funds, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or individual assistance for each beneficiary.
2. Privacy:
a. Any personal information provided by donors will be treated with utmost confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of processing donations and maintaining donor records. We will not share or sell personal information to third parties, except as required by law.
b. We use secure and reliable payment gateways to process online donations, and we do not store any sensitive financial information on our website.
3. Website Usage:
a. The content on our website is provided for informational purposes only. It may be subject to change without prior notice, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
